We’re just 20km north of Wellington. Catch a bus or a train and you’ll end up in the centre of Porirua City – easy – and if you’re driving, guess what? Parking is free in the city centre for up to two hours in most locations.

We love living in Porirua City. We’re a friendly bunch and enjoy getting together as a community. We’re really close to Wellington and the Kapiti Coast but have our own unique culture. It really is another world here – it’s relaxed, easy to navigate, there are so many things to do, and parking is free (beat that!).
A lot of us choose to live in Porirua City and work in Wellington or up the coast – it’s a very easy commute and you get to leave the rat race in the capital behind at the end of the day and head home to our relaxed environment.
