As a Council, we are responsible for making decisions about our city. Outcomes from these decisions will affect residents in different ways and it’s important for people who are likely to be affected to have an opportunity to tell us what they think.
The current policy was adopted in 2020 and we need to make some minor amendments following the sale of an asset, and to update our net cost thresholds. As part of the review, we’ve also made some changes to the format and context. used within the policy itself, with the goal of making it more user-friendly.
We need to make some minor updates to the current policy to streamline our approach to determining significance.
The proposed amendments to the current policy are as follows:
Statement of Proposal - Draft Significance and Engagement Policy 2023
Draft Significance and Engagement Policy 2023
