Izzy Ford

My principal place of residence is in the Porirua City Council area. I am also standing for the Eastern/Pāuatahanui ki te uunga mai o te ra Ward.

I am standing for Mayor of Porirua because I have great respect for the position, and for the strong leadership that is required in the role to drive quality decision-making that's representative for all voices of the Porirua community. 

I was born and raised in Porirua and am immensely proud to call our city home to my husband Glynn and I, with our three beautiful children Jayden (15), Taylah (10) and Bella (7). 

During the last six years serving as the local councillor for the Eastern Ward and as Deputy Mayor in this current term - I bring integrity, discipline and service above self. 

I bring loyalty, trusted experience and a wealth of knowledge and understanding of our Council. If elected as your Mayor, I will continue to serve with determination and promise to deliver critical and meaningful change for Porirua.
